Artist Statement

Art works can be viewed as a marrying of pictures and words, an impenetrable combination that can hide, blur, even obfuscate the serious stuff that may be present in the work.  Additional use of language can sometimes make this worse.  This work is an essay on the interconnections between pictures and words.
