Artist Statement:
Balancing Act is a euphemism for my life. I love to paint, but like most things we all love, too much of a good thing is TOO MUCH.
So, I have attempted to balance my life, and this is where I am today.
My intent for this exhibit was to explore color relationships along with texture and design. To evolve through experimentation, realizing that these paintings can work as a group or stand on their own.
Ultimately, without balance I risk falling down.
