We're excited that Alice Austin and Louise Pezzi are starting off our 2020 season!
Alice Austin and Louise Pezzi explore techniques and forms both medieval and modern. They create artwork inspired by a history of craft and combine this knowledge with a contemporary sensibility in intriguing and new ways. On view in this exhibit are paintings by Austin, created in Ireland, and forged ironwork, by Pezzi, for Saint Clement’s Church, Philadelphia. Austin and Pezzi also collaborated on the design and making of a chain for a book bound in the style of the Middle Ages.
